Originates from South America, 'Rhythm & Blues' is a new form of Salvia in the Bodacious® series. It is superior to many S. guaranitica forms due to deeper green leaves, more numerous and larger flowers and stronger less breakable stems. Deep electric blue flowers are supported by intense black calyxes. It's a "made you look twice" flower.
'Rhythm & Blues' is strongly perennial in warmer climates but in frosty Winters it will need some protection to ensure a return in Spring. 1m x 1m. -

As a rule we have generally avoided growing smaller leaved bush Salvias due to their popularity in large garden centres. However with 'Ignition Purple' we have made an exception. It is notably heat and drought tolerant and has a reputation for being the most humidity tolerant of its type. But the real reason we included it in our range was the explosion of purple flowers throughout Summer. Irresistible!! 50-60cm tall and wide. Full sun with good drainage. Combines well with silver foliage, Tulbaghia varieties, Rudbeckia and Sedum.

A Sedum for all seasons. 'Conga Line' has a compact form with an upright habit, but it is the change through the seasons that helps this Sedum stand out from the rest. Spring and Summer foliage is a subtle sea green colour with a hint of pink, but as the flowers form in Summer the foliage darkens to purple and finally burgundy before Winter arrives. The flowers are a candy like combination of cream, peach and coral. 40cm x 40cm. Requires good drainage and decent soil.

The biggest plant and the biggest flowers in the world of 'Society Garlics'. Really strong growth on a high performance plant. Grey-green strappy foliage to 60cm which is topped with mauve pink heads of Agapanthus style flowers. So good we prefer this plant to regular Tulbaghia violaceae which has been a mainstay in our plant stocks for over a decade.
